Archive Assistant
At Condé Nast, my role involved researching and working with the historical collections of fashion and design magazines such as British Vogue, The World of Interiors and House & Garden, as well as the Cecil Beaton Archive.
Intern, Design
For Phillips, I researched and wrote catalogue essays on twentieth-century design featuring in the bi-annual London Design auctions.
Furniture Department Placement
In August 2024, I assisted the V&A's furniture curator with the initial planning of the 2025 redisplay of the furniture galleries.
Textiles Department Placement
From June to August 2024, I assisted the V&A's curator of textiles in researching the museum's collection of seventeenth- and eighteenth-century English tapestries.
Showroom Artist and Designer
I spent two summers as a freelance artist and designer for Pooky Lighting, working on their stand at the Decorex furniture fair. In 2022, I designed and hand-painted neoclassical features around the stand, and in 2023, I designed a 1960s inspired geometric tiled floor still used by Pooky at Decorex today.
